The Lake Biwa Canal Museum is a facility that was established with the support of citizens of Kyoto, in hopes of sharing the significance of the canal with as many people as possible, honoring the accomplishments of our predecessors, and also making the canal a driving force for Kyoto, which continues to develop into the future.
